The reconstruction of the Democratic Republic of Congo depends on health. FICE members affirm that it is essential to ensure the health and well-being of all if we are to eradicate poverty, achieve sustainable development, contribute to economic growth and ensure the prosperity of the Congolese people.
While encouraging the public power, the private sector and the civil society of the DRC gives an important consideration to the well-being of the population, the nursing staff and the health infrastructures, The members of FICE do not hesitate to make their contribution under different forms:
Inventory and make available the skills of Congolese Abroad who evolve in the field of health and research;
Eliminate customs charges for health equipment and materials;
Resume medical cooperation with Christian institutions which contributed to the health of the Congolese populations before and after independence;
Close health centers that are not under the direction of qualified medical personnel;
Introduce the annual certification of nursing staff;
Introduce insurance for the profession of caregivers in order to compensate victims of errors and accidents in the profession of caregivers.
