Some of us only knew our country the Democratic Republic of Congo when they were babies or children. Others only knew her by name from parents, brothers and acquaintances. However we have one thing in common: the love of our dear country
Look at our life when we did not grow up in the country: our meals, our songs, our dress, our weddings…we do all of this according to the culture and traditions of our country.
We young Congolese in the diaspora have an asset that galvanizes us to participate in the reconstruction of our country: It is our unity as our fathers of independence wanted.
Beyond our identity unity, we have talents, vigor and creativity that allow us to contribute to the reconstruction of our country. Our entrepreneurial spirit is palpable. If you observe most of those who return to the country set up small production units and create jobs, you will agree that we are the young people of the diaspora.
